With over thirty years of experience in the computer and software development field, Ron Classen has been a consultant and software developer for companies and government agencies such as Rockwell International, E-Systems, and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. He has developed many web-based software applications including systems for insurance claims processing, online credit reporting, and reservation systems.

Dr. Classen has been a computer science and engineering professor at Iowa State, the University of Texas at Arlington, Mississippi State, Northeast Louisiana University, and the University of North Florida. He has authored more than twenty papers in various areas of information technology and networks, and holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
